Margaret Wilkerson Sexton is the author of three novels. The NYTimes Book Review declared Wilkerson Sexton, "a writer of uncommon nerve and talent." Her previous work — “A Kind of Freedom” and “The Revisioners” — has been long-listed for the National Book Award, won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Literary Work, and was a national bestseller. Her most recent novel, On The Rooftop, was selected for Reece's Book Club. She lives in Oakland with her family.
